I came across a thread this morning (cant find it again, typical) that said if your urine is cloudy yellow upto 2-3 days before your AF is due you will most likely get a bfp. But if it is orange, prob AF is on its way. Only works with FMU.

Now, come on, who is gonna be watching their urine more closely? huh? LOL

Though my AF has just come today...and yes, was very dark orangey urine!

Apparently you can also tell if its a girl to be baby if your urine is a dull yellow?

I'm going to have to call BS on this. I'm spotting now, ready to start AF at any second and my urine is cloudy yellow. It is almost always cloudy yellow with FMU. I think maybe the website was written by someone who wanted to see how many crazy TTCers would look at their pee and then take the time to contact them to let them know if they were right or wrong! lmao

I've had cloudy urine too but not sure when? I know she said it can be cloudy around ovulation too cos of hormones but orange at af cos of blood ... But I guess that don't make sense cos if you haven't started af yet why would you have my blood in your urine?

Still..... Makes me wanna be more observant! :-P just in case!

If you had blood in your urine wouldn't that mean you were having problems with your kidneys? I know they say neon means one gender and cloudy means the other, but you have to drink so much water I don't see how you could even tell that much. They just want women to keep staring at their own pee wondering.

Well, it wasn't an article ... Just women on a forum like us! The one lady was saying it was true for three of her pregnancies, that she could tell by her urine.

That's definitely an interesting way of knowing. Think I'll stick with obsessing over dates and pee sticks though. Much more fun than just staring in the toilet.

I stayed away from the prediction stuff so I wouldn't go crazy. We had the big u/s Tuesday and she is without a doubt a girl. She stuck her bottom right out at us and didn't make any secret of it! We've decided on the name Sarah Marie for now, but may change it later since obviously she may be born and look nothing like a Sarah.

i read somewhere to put that toilet cleaning stuff in the toilet after you pee... (the blue liquid one) and if it turns Green it is Girl and Blue it is Boy (get it? G-G B-B) lmao. i love telling this to pregnant women and seeing their faces light up. even tho in reality it cant be true... (but how many people try it anyhow? lol!)

That's like that Drano trick. Mix a little pee with a little Drano and see what color you get. I'd think the smell would be awful though!
