Hi, I am new to JM. After my appointment today I thought I should join this board and introduce myself. My name is Amber and I am 31. I have 2 kids (DS is 8 yrs and DD is 6 yrs) both were conceived naturally with my first DH.

My current DH and I have been together 3 years and married for just over 6 months. I have had missed periods over the past 6 years and my midwife and I have discussed that in the past that it may be due to PCOS.

DH and I have been NTNP for over year now, and "trying" a little more since the wedding in September. After an erratic 54 day cycle between Jan & March I started charting in March after AF.

I had an appointment with my midwife today and she put me on Met & Femara. I guess baby #3 isn't going to come naturally after all

I'm sorry that you're going through this. PCOS is hard enough to deal with, but it's so much worse when you've already had kids and a decline has made the next one so much harder. Does she want you to start both at the same time or just do the Met initially? Some women have been able to conceive on just that and avoid the actual fertility meds.
