I am having a hard time accepting that we cannot have any more kids. My husband, however is not. He is okay with just one child. He knew I wanted more than one child before my daughter was born and he was fine with having at least two, but as soon as we found out we couldn't have more he gave up the idea. I want to adopt, but he isn't really on board.

Is anyone else experiencing this with their partners??

I never thought I would ever have problems conceiving. My daughter was conceived at 17 while trying to prevent. My son..... well, I thought it was just bad timing, but maybe I was having issues then too. I divorced their father and remarried. In the beginning I blamed our problems on him. Now we know that there isn't any reason that the doctors can find for why we can't have kids...it just isn't happening. I am having a very hard time dealing with that. Matt (who doesn't have any biological children) doesn't seem to have any problems accepting it. He is perfectly content just with the two from my first marriage.

While he would be okay with adopting... we just can't afford it at the moment and it's going to be 5-10 years before we could honestly even think about a foreign adoption (which is the only kind of adoption he is interested in). It's very frustrating.
