Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm Amanda (30) and Dh is Dan. We have a beautiful 5 1/2 month old daughter named Alexandra. I'm not sure if I really belong here or not because I have already experienced infertility from the get-go. I have pcos and it took us nearly 2 years to conceive our daughter. Finally, injections and iui worked. I've also had one m/c before conceiving Alex.

Anyway, I've been kind of lurking here because we go back to our fertility specialist on September 22nd to begin ttc #2!!! We are very excited to begin again-and yet kind of weary about the whole process, if that makes sense. It's a lot to go through, as many of you may know. We had thought of trying on our own naturally, but given my wacky cycles, decided to just head straight back for help. Plus, I kind of feel like I wasted a lot of time trying on my own when going to the specialist worked fairly quickly. Praying that the same thing happens this time around too.

Anyway, I'm rambling! I hope no one minds me hanging here even though we aren't actively ttc at the moment

I also have PCOS. Are you breastfeeding or anything? Despite my normal infertility that postpartum boost was enough to get us a surprise fourth so maybe it'll work in your favor too.

Hi ladies! Thanks for the welcome Sorry I haven't been active lately-we are leaving for Australia on Sunday and have a ton of stuff to do Anna-not bf'ing....hopefully it won't take all that long! Congrats to you!

How long will you be in Australia? I am totally jealous! I would love to go one day. Not likely to happen anytime soon though. lol

hi! i'm heather and my DH and I have been TTC#2 for over 2 years now and it took us almost 2 years for our first! no idea if anything is wrong tho I was raised to believe doctors shouldnt be involved in fertility (which i kno is old fashioned! i dont believe in birth control either) so hopefully this is our month. i feel really good about it! good luck to you on ttc your second!
