Do you (honestly, now) consider yourself materialistic at all?
To some extent yes, but no more than anyone else. I mean, it would be nice to have a new truck or a bigger pool (right now I drive a 1997 Ford Ranger and I have a inflatable pool in the back yard that is 8 feet across and 2.5 feet deep). I think that just about everyone wants something just a little better than what they currently have. It's human nature. At the same time though, I am content with what I have. I might not have much as far a material possessions but I have two great kid and a husband who loves me and that is the real important thing. I might always want something a bit nicer than what I have, but I don't NEED it. If my husband said tonight that I could quit my job and just stay home and take care of the house and the kids, I'd do it in a heartbeat KNOWING that it would mean no new truck or bigger pool or other things like that. My family is so much more important than an material possession ever could be!
