1. What grade will your child be in this year? DD1 is going into 2nd grade and DS is going into Pre-K For mommas with younger kids: Do you plan on sending your child to preschool/headstart? No, the cost is just way too much for preschool and the way they do headstart wouldn't work with so many kids. The last time I looked into preschool though it would've been about $300 per week per child. Waaay too much.
2. What grade in school was the hardest for you (either academically or socially)? Probably the last two years of high school tie on this one. I was switched to an online school so the people I lived with could save money and not get up early. Socially there was no interaction and academically they had almost no classes I hadn't already taken. It was like two years of reruns. Great for my GPA, but that's about it.
1. What grade will your child be in this year? Sierra is going to be in seventh, Will is going to be a 3rd grader and I will be a college freshman. lol
2. What grade in school was the hardest for you (either academically or socially)? I think for me it was probably 5th and 6th grade. It was a really tough time for me in many ways. My father became disabled just before I started school my 5th grade year. and My mom was pregnant. Neither could work, and we went from very well off financially, to extremely poor. My Dad was in and out of the hospital alot and mom was busy with him and then a newborn.I kind of got pushed to the side a bit at home, and at school I was being teased and picked on alot (mostly because of our financial situation) and I started struggling in school just because I didn't want to be there so I would just not do any work at all.
Austin is going to be in 9th!
For me, 8th... it was the peak of being bullied & just called names. I LOVED hihgh school b/c all the kids I went to junior high with went to one school & I went to another.
