No, I think whatever is meant to happen will happen regardless of what day it is or whether you walked under a ladder or what have you.

I'm not really superstitious and Friday the 13th doesn't make me nervous.

I do however, have this irrational thought that buying a mini-van last fall (which we wouldn't have done but I crashed our family car) jinxed us and no we'll be driving around a mini-van with just one kid forever....

I'm not really suspicious. My boss nearly had a heart attack today because I walked under a ladder, bumped into a salt display and spilled one everywhere. He was like "And you did it on Friday the 13th! You are doomed. Stay away from me!" I think it's just kind of ridiculous.

I'm not supersticious about friday the 13th, or walking under ladders or anything like that, but i am a supersticious person. All irish people are!

For example, a pregnant woman would never buy anything for her unborn baby until a few weeks before the due date, and then it would be the necessary things, like nappies, crib, stroller, and we would never keep it in our own house. So much so, that stores will keep it until the baby is born. We are very much "dont count your chickens before they hatch" people.

there are loads of other things, but my general belief is that bad thoughts and actions will come back to you as bad luck.
