When is the last time you bought something or went out and did something just for you?

I don't know about everyone else, but I usually get so wrapped up in taking care of the house, the bills, the husband, the kids and the pets that I forget to take care of the MOMMA! Every once in a while we need time to destress and pamper ourselves, even if that is just a new pair of jeans, a night out, or pizza and a movie at home. So when is the last time that you did something for YOU?

WHAT? We are allowed to do that? LOL

On AJ's first day of school I went "window shopping" and out for coffee with some friends of mine. It was refreshing to be kid free for a few hours. Now that he is in school a couple days a week I try to do something like that (that doesn't cost too much) just to get out of the house for me time before Katie comes.

And a couple weeks ago, I went to a "Party Committee Meeting" for my MOMS Club to plan the Halloween Party on Sunday, MNO (Mom's Night Out) on Wednesday and then my Crafty Mama's group on Friday. It was awesome! I don't usually get so many nights out a month, but I had birthday money and I decide to spend it on things I could do by myself and with friends.

I only thought to ask this question because I just recieved my Financial Aid refund check and I used part of it to buy some new jeans (mine were literally coming apart at the seams!) and some better sneakers. The were needed items, but generally I would have just gone to the thrift shop to get them for myself and this time I actually went to a "real" store. lol
