For me the problem is progressive PCOS with low estrogen and adenomyosis.

I have PCOS and I believe I also have a thyroid problem but haven't had it diagnosed yet.

We are unexplained at this point. I want to get some more testing done soon, but right now..... scheduling doctors appointments around school and both of my jobs is a bit difficult at best. Hopefully during winter break I can get some testing done and find some answers. So far though, there is now explaination. Everything works properly and there is no reason why we shouldn't have had a successful pregnancy by now.

I think this is even more frustrating than if I had a reason. At least if I had a diagnosis or whatever we would know why and we could start focusing on how to correct it. Not knowing really sucks!

We are dealing with sever male factor infertility. We're not sure if DH has always had a super low count and we were just super lucky to get pregnant as fast as we did the first time or if (like DH's urologist thinks), his count was higher back then and dropped much lower b/c of his varicocele.

Stephanie, I think unexplained infertility would be very hard to deal with as well. Our diagnosis was devastating, but at least it makes sense now why I'm not conceiving.

Stephanie - Have you ever had your thyroid checked?

Our infertility is mostly unknown (cause we didn't have problems with getting pregnant the first time) and my PCOS is very mild (because most months I do ovulate). I did some research and that is where I came up with the possibility of my thyroid being off - I have so many of the symptoms and difficulty getting or staying pregnant can be tied to your thyroid. And so many of the symptoms also mimic PCOS symptoms too I will be getting it checked after Katie comes.

I was diagnosed with PCOS in February.
Had 2 Clomid IUI and 2 Injectables IUI cycles and they JUST told me that DH has a low morphology rate (1%) -- they generally like higher than 4% which means that only 1% of his sample is normal -- the others have two heads or two tails or mishapen. They said that they didn't think it would be an issue b/c his count was always high (avg 200million) so 1% of that is about 20million and thought we'd still be good candidates for IUI.

We are doing IVF now.

I'm back! Still ntnp, but I wanted to pop into my old home
We're unexplained, only ever had two pgs, both with clomid, one ending in m/c--had a failed ivf cycle for poor response, and three adoptions, now we're ntnp for #5
