I'm headed out the door for work (at the grocery store) and I thought this would make a good question. lol

How often do you grocery shop?
How much (on average) do you spend on groceries per month?
When was the last time you went shopping?

Groceries are bought weekly in 2 trips. I go with the kids for stuff that it's important to me is bought in a specific way. Clothes for the kids, feminine things, stuff like that. DH buys the rest in one big trip the next day. Our current allowance is $225 a week. That includes groceries, clothes, shoes, home improvement stuff, etc. though.

I dont really know how much we spend but we spend a lot. Most of it seems to be on school lunches. I go probably 2 or 3 times a week and usually once a month i`ll go and do a huge shop.

I shop every two weeks (after payday). My goal is to keep it at $140 or below for those two weeks and I usually keep it to that.

I should be shopping this weekend, but we will be so busy I will have to work something out early in the week next week.
