Did you think that it would be this hard to TTC again?

It took us 6 months to get pregnant the first time, which is 6 months longer than it takes almost all of my friends....but I didn't really think we had some major fertility problem.I truly believed we could have more kids, and that the worst case scenario would be TTC for a year max. When I got pregnant, I thought, "Oh, thank goodness! I really thought something was terribly wrong with one of us and we were going to have to do a bunch of tests and procedures." Well, we were blessed not to have to go through that the first time, but the second time we've been through:
* 2 devastating semen analysis
* 1 painful varicocele surgery (for DH)
* 1 HSG
* 1 elevated FSH test (at the ripe old age of 26)
* 14 disappointing cycles
*and a partridge in a pair tree

I really had no idea it would be anywhere near this hard. I figured that I would have 3 or 4 little ones by now.
