Hi all. I would love to join here, seems like a good place for me to fit in. A little about me, I am Nikki 23, wife to Nathan 19, mommy to Lilyanna 2.

My history, when I was 19, my BF of 4 years and I decided to try for a baby. In Jan of 07 I got pg, but had a m/c at 9 weeks, after seeing the HB and everything After jumping full force into TTC, (temping and all) finally I got pregnant again after starting the fertility recipe on the womans place website. I got my BFP!! I had an easy pregnancy, and then at 28 weeks, found out I was dilated 2 cm and was put on bed rest, after 2 months I gave birht to my healthy 7lb 12 oz baby girl on april 7th 2008!. Just 2 months later, her dad moved out, and didn't want much to do with any of us, he had changed his mind about being a parent at some point during the pregnancy, haha, great timing huh!! Anyway, we did end up trying to work things out on and off and when my DD was 9 months old, the was an event that led to me being DONE!! I was finally done, couldnt take his crap anymore. He put drinking and partying ahead of us, and I wa snot living like taht anymore. About a week later...the symptoms started, sore boobs, ligament pains, really tired... Sure enough, 2 pink lines came up when I finally got the nerve to test. I was scared, because of the situation, but excited at the thought of another baby. But just 4 days later I started having pain and went to the ER, it was ectopic. They didn't have to remove anything though, my body took care of it, while being monitored.

So, in the meantime, I had been seeing a guy on and off. He was amazing, and amwazing man, amazing daddy, when he didnt have to be. He turned into my best friend, my rock, and my little girls daddy. We got married in august

We have been TTC since april, with no luck. It is so frustrating!! I know I am not infertil, i have been pg 3 times!! However, it was all to the ex....so, is it me, or DH...who knows!

I'm Stephanie, one of the cohosts here. I'm in a pretty similar situation to you. I have two kids. Sierra (12) and Will (9). My husband and I have been trying for almost 5 years now (8 miscarriages during that time) and no idea why we are having problems. My children are from my first marriage, so we originally thought that the problem was likely with him. At this point we are considered UNEXPLAINED SECONDARY INFERTILITY. They can't tell us why, and the good news is that Somthing like 90% of people who suffer from SECONDARY infertility will go on to have a successful pregnancy.

Well first of all.. welcome to our group..but i have to say.. sorry to hear whats been going on and sorry your ex was such a loser.. but it is wonderful that you had someone else come along that was so wonderful to you and your little girl I wish you luck in TTC #2 and I hope your stay here is a short one

oh and by the way.. I'm Jade.. we have been TTC#2 since sept. 07.. of course a lot has gone on since then.. we haven't had insurance but we were still trying what we could.. but now DH lost his job.. and so we are putting things on hold until he starts a new job.. and hopefully his new job will have insurance and we will be able to see the docs. we need and hopefully get pregnant soon.. our DD is almost 6..so i hope 2011 brings us a baby.. and a long with everyone here

Stephanie, I am so sorry to hear about your 8 losses, how heartbreaking I hope you get a sticky pregnancy soon!!

Jade, yeah he really did turn into a loser, he wasnt always like that or I wouldnt have had a planned baby with him, i was in shock about his actions for 2 years!! I hope you get your insurance figured out and a BFP soon!
