Today this guys call DH's phone.. and told him about this job..and set up an interview for Monday..but I am not happy about it.. on his old job he was making a little over $18 an hour.. but he was on salary however.. this job offer he just got starts off on a 3 month contract.. and pays $14 an hour.. then It will go to Salary.. but I think its sucks.. and DH is so happy about it.. I feel like he is selling himself short.. and just settling for just whatever.. and If I say something about it.. he gets all defensive.. and is like.. well its better then what we are getting for unemployment.. which we only got 2 checks so far.. and we have up to 14 weeks.. Which means he would have 12 weeks longer to find a job.. a better paying job.. I mean.. we live in a Metro area.. there are a lot of jobs.. he is in the IT networking.. I want to support him.. but I don't want him to just settle.. what should I do??

What kind of benefits does the job offer? What kind of opportunities for advancement and better pay? How does the salaried compare?

well i do not know what the benefits are yet.. but it will be on a 3 month contract to hire.. and he will be making a lot less and who knows how much they would be paying him once he would be hired to salary.. i do not even know if it would be as much as it was as he was making at his last job.. i know its a start.. but still.. i know he could be making a lot more for the work he knows how to do.. he has an interview on Monday.. so I guess I will update then.. Hopefully I will know more by then..
