A little about me first: I am 35 and have a 20 mo. old son. It look almost 2 years TTC with 10 of those with an RE. At the baseline ultasound they discovered I had a 7cm cyst near one of my ovaries and they put me on birth control to see if it would shrink. It did not and had actully grown larger so I had surgery. After surgery and recovery my RE started me on Clomid to see how my body reacted and I did not respond so they tried 2 more times going up to 200mg (I had already done 3 rounds with OB with no monitoring) So on to injectibles and I had several cycles cancelled due to smaller cycts. The first cycle I was actually able to go though the entire protocal prescribed by my RE I got pregnant.

Now fast forward to this Monday when I had my baseline ultrasound at CD3 and what do they find- a 4.5cm cyst so now I play the waiting game to see if it disappears. Ugg. I was so excited to get started and go straight to injectibles and I am sad now. I have to wait 30 days call back and then will start taking Prometium since my cycles are around 40-42 days.

I decided to find a message board to find support and just have a place to write my thoughts.

I hope that the cysts shrink soon! I'm Cassandra, a newbie to this board I had a large cyst in November, it was awful when it burst. We are at the 6 month mark of TTC our second. Our son just turned 5... hope we all get a BFP soon! Welcome!!

I am sorry it is taking you so long.. and its been a rough ride so far.. I hope the docs. are able to figure out something.. and will help you get pregnant asap.. My daughter is almost 6 (as of Feb. 19th) and we have been trying to get pregnant with #2 for nearly 4 years (not quite yet) but we have not been able to go to the docs. for a while.. My mom had my on her health insurance a long time ago.. but once the economy started to go south.. my mom had to stop mine.. b/c she wasn't able to pay it any more.. well my hubbys old job didnt have health insurance.. so I wasn't able to go to the docs. to see what was going on with me.. since I wasn't getting pregnant.. but now he is about to start a new job (hopefully soon) and he will have the health insurance we will need.. SO.. I hope that we both (along with everyone here) get our BFP's soon.. I wish you luck
