I found out today that my insurance company will cover 80% of a lot of infertility diagnostics and treatment. It will even cover 80% of an IUI (though nothing of an IVF) proceedure. I called my ob yesterday and got a name of a urologist that can do DH's sperm count/motility and he is covered under my insurance. SOOO, looks like the investigative process won't be as super expensive as I was afraid.

Now, there are things (like fertility drugs) that it won't cover...but it will cover treatment proceedures.

Once we test this month if it's another BFN I'm calling to make Steve's appointment. If his stuff comes out fine then my ob said yesterday he will get the ball rolling on more testing for me (all he's done is confirm ovulation...in his mind I swear...and then my regular yearly physicals and bloodwork has always checked out).

anyway, that's my little bit of good news.

Thanks, Ladies. I'm glad to have a plan underway as well. On the one hand I hate it, becaue I NEVER thought when I set out to have #3 that it would come to this. But on the other hand, it's a start to getting some answers.

And I got to thinking last night, why wait to make his appointment? I can go ahead and make him an appointment and then if we end up with a BFP this month I can just cancel the appointment...that way he's in very quickly.

Oh and I'm sorry for all my typos and spelling errors yesterday. I don't check behind myself when I post online....but I re-read my post today and was aghast! I "looked" like an idiot. hahaha
