My DS is having surgery tomorrow on his ear so I may be scarce for a few days.
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are home and David is half asleep on the couch. He is on Lortab and Zofran so I hope that he is not hurting.
The surgery ended up being more than the Doctor originally thought it would be. When his got into his ear he found a cyst starting to form on the inside of the eardum. He said that if this had not be found it would have ended up killing the bones that allow you to hear and David would have most likely lost all of his hearing in his left ear. We are so thankful that they surgery in Jan didn't close his ear or we wouldn't have known about the cyst until damage had already been done.
They also had to make a two inch cut in his hair line above the ear to get material to repair the eardrum. He has to keep his ear bandaged for the next week which is going to be such a challenge with his sensory issues.
