Last Tuesday I was at work and went to the restroom. When I did I found that I was gushing blood. I left straight from work for the Doctors office. After a LONG two hours ( it was lunch time at the office ) I was able to have an ultrasound. We found out that the baby was ok but that the twin we lost had started to bleed. Due to the amount of blood they saw in my uterus they expected me to have period like bleeding for 3-4 days. I did and was scared to death the whole time. Thankfully the bleeding stopped.


Then I started spotting again on Tuesday , yesterday I called the doctors and they had me come in this morning.

The good news is the baby is still growing and thriving. It's heartbeat was 167.

The bad news is I still have a bleed from the twin we lost. I also have blood pooling at my cervix.

There is nothing that can be done at this point but wait. I go back on the 15th for another ultrasound. I was also told to take it easy and not lift over 15 lbs.
