Hello everyone!

My name is Keri. I am a first time Mommy to a 9 month old boy named Remington. You may recognize me. I've been a host around here on and off for 2 years. Anyways, We had some trouble conceiving him and are now trying for #2 and wanted to share my story.

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis back in 2006 at 19 years old. After months of Lupron treatments and multiple surgeries, I think we have it under control now. In 2009, my husband was diagnosed with literally no sperm count. He had a count of about 9 mil. and had a super duper low mortility count and morphology (meaning his sperm were just about life-less. Doctor's gave us %5 chance of conceiving naturally so we opted to do artificial insemination. We preformed our first (after 6 months of trying on our own) in August of 2009 and it didn't work. We tried once more in September of 2009 and it didn't work either. I was put on the strongest dose of Clomid, estrogen and progesterone and was told to keep trying! We finally got pregnant in March of 2010 after 15 months of trying...and must I add.....it was on our own!!! (with Clomid and all those other drugs but the BD was the 'ol fashion way)

SO- now that our son is 9 months old, we are predicting another loooong journey to #2 so we have started TTC this month!! I unfortunately started my period just after a 20 day cycle. Looks like Clomid will be in my future again.

Hello and thanks for sharing your story! We've been TTC our second for 14 months now. We have 5 year old daughter that was not planned. I hope the second time around doesn't take nearly as long. Good luck!
