I normally have great cycles, no infertility problems on my part, we're dealing with male factor. Every single month I could easily pin point my ovulation due to sharp, stabbing pains for about 1 hour before the egg was released, I got it like clock work every month and as soon as the pain stopped I'd take an ovulation kit a couple hours later and it would go to negative when it was positive during the pain, so that told me ovulation occurred, also increased temps in the next 24 hours confirmed it. I started a diet about 3-4 months ago and ever since, I no longer have ovulation pains, I've still been able to somewhat pinpoint my ovulation by ovulation kits and temps but the main thing I looked for was that sharp stabbing pain right before the egg was released. Why do you think my pains have just stopped? This month I started taking opk's on CD 12 because I normally ovulate anywhere between CD 12-15, well it was negative on CD 12, 13, and today which is CD 14 and now my breasts are sore like they always are after ovulation, I haven't been temping this month because my bb thermometer died, but I am thinking I may have already ovulated because my breasts are sore and full (always happens 2-3 days after ovulation)...so its driving me crazy that I am unable to tell when I ovulate anymore, I know I am ovulating because I get a period every month every 27-30 days though my period last month was lighter than normal, 1 heavy day, 1 medium day, and 3 light days, normally I have 2 heavy days, 2 medium days, and 2 light days...do you think I am having weak ovulations? I am just really concerned and we're so focused on my dh's issues that now I am fearing something could be starting on my part though everything came back clean on me with a bunch of tests we ran late last year...any idea's?

as long as you see a shift you should be just fine. Pain or no Pain. Our bodies are always changing. Even with symptoms coming and going. The last two months I don't have my usual eggwhite before I ovulate and before my period. I don't know what happened, but I got pregnant.
As far as day twelve opk. You probably missed your lh surge. I've done that before, in fact last month.
