I mostly lurk, but am so glad to see this forum. I don't think many people understand just how difficult secondary infertility is. I just want to offer some hope. My DH and I got pregnant 3 months after we got married. We thought we would be able to conceive just as easily the second time around. It wasn't. After much testing at fertility clinics with no problems found, we tried Clomid, charting, OPK's everything we could afford. Everyone says don't worry it'll happen. 7 years later after giving up (but not my DH) we started the adoption process to China. All paperwork to China, and guess what? We got pregnant. Our miracle is 1 year old today. I was 40 when I had her (32 with our first). Please, know that just when you think you're too old and no chances left, it can happen. I will be sending all of you poitive vibes!!
Catherine

I have to add the same thing. I tried for 5 1/2 years before I got pregnant with my first son and then it was 7 years later that I had my second son. NEVER give up!

Catherine and Sherry, thank you so much for sharing your stories! I'm so sorry that it took you both so long to get pregnant, but I'm glad you finally got your little blessings. Thank you for the inspiration!

Sorry, have an question for you guys now. Thank you.[/b]
I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you referring to trying homeopathic and herbal treatments, for example? From what I've gathered, most of the ladies here have tried herbal blends, charting, etc prior to getting medical assistance. I know that my doctor's office won't even discuss fertility problems until after you've been trying for a year (if you're under 35)... at which point, I think most people have tried whatever they can to make it happen!

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your question.
