Ok ... what gives!?

I've been GREAT the last month ...

Now I'm in the last week of the tour and I feel like a friggin' mess - hormonal and emotional ... and time feels like it's standing still. I need to get the house picked up but have no real drive to do it ... I see crap piled up and I'm like ... ehhh.

What gives? I thought for sure I'd be like this crazy person running around trying to get everything ready and I have no desire to whatsoever. I expected time to basically stop once DH got his return-trip itinerary but this is friggin' ridiculous. It's going by slower than the last weeks of my pregnancy!!

I was the EXACT same way at the end of Tony's last deployment, then the day of his homecoming I was scrambling around like a mad woman... but it did make THAT day go by fast! Maybe make a big list of everything you need to do and then just do a few things each day til he's home. I'm so excited for you!

I think that's pretty normal. I was the same way last time and I have a feeling I will be this time too. The good news is, your DH won't care if the house is a mess because he'll just be glad to be home!
