Ok, I think I was told before that I will need a general POA and medical POA for when the baby comes. DH said a guy told him that he only needed the general one for the baby. Can anyone help me clear this up, do I need both or is the general one ok?

A general POA covers everything. Is your DH deployed or will be when the baby will be born?

Before my DH deployed we got a general POA and another POA ... the name of it is totally on the tip of my tongue and I can't remember it. A lot of people try to sway deploying personnel from getting POAs, so beware.

You need a general POA for everything. We had to get another one but I don't remember what it was for and I'd go look but it's downstairs in the safe lol. It'll say on the form you fill out what the general one covers and they can tell you if you call what special ones they have.
