Omgosh yes. I cannot wait. I'm going crazy having to wait. I wish it was a few days earlier thou, b/c one of the consignment sales ends like 2 days b4 lol. Oh wellz i'll just have to spend more on my itty bitty. I don't really have any names picked out yet. For a girl we are possibly thinking Addison, but we still aren't sure.

I know they grow up WAY too fast! My son is almost 16 months already and I swear it feels like he was just born yesterday. What are you most looking forward to doing with Gabriel? Does he smile and stuff yet? One of my friends just had her second baby, she's 7 weeks old it's so crazy how amazing they are.

How many children do you want to have?

There isnt one particular thing Im looking forward too, but I just want to watch him grow! Hubby is deploying soon, so it will be just me and Gabe, so we will have A LOT of bonding time!!
I would like to have at least 1 more. I know it would be an uneven number, but it will be 2 kids for me and my hubby, my oldest DS is from a previous marriage.
Its so funny you like the name Addison, we were thinking that for a girl, but spelling it Addyson. Her full name was going to be Addyson Lee. Lee is DH's middle name. I liked Addyson Rose, but later found out its an adult movie actress...LOL so I was like ummm no Im gone.

So where are you stationed at? do You like where your at? Are you working or a SAHM?

I'm stationed at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. I hate it here w/ a passion!!! Mostly b/c it is wayyy to hot for me and b/c I'm 24 hrs from home. Our first base was McGuire AFB, NJ so we were spoiled being only 3 hrs from home. We haven't seen our family now in over a year and it'll probably be longer b/c the stupid air force is taking forever on something that should take like a month. We are supposed to leave in November but it doesn't look like that will even happen.

I stay at home right now and I guess I will be for a while since I plan to BF the new lil one. But I honestly can't wait to go back to work. I love the time w/ the kiddo, but it gets so boring. I've been home for 15 months now, plus a month of bed rest before that. It's hard only socializing with a baby all day after a while.

How about you?

Wow sorry you are so far from home! I am about 13 hours. My home is Florida so its far but not as far as you! that does suck.
Before I became a SAHM mom, I worked as a vet tech in an emergency hospital. But the funny thing is I met my DH in the Army. I am prior service. I was serving over in Korea, and got medically discharged. Honorable I might add. So its a HUGE adjustment from being a soldier to a soldier's wife, and especially staying at home.
What are they taking so long for? For you guys to leave? I hope you get to go home, a year is a long time not seeing your family. I havent seen my family since Christmas! and I am going crazy!! Its so hard being away from family and friends and we move so much, always gotta make new friends.
Do you have a lot of friends there? I barely have any here and its so lonely, my computer is literally my bestfriend! LOL my friends live in my comp!!
Well girly gotta feed lil man! I will talk to you soon!!

The hubby is getting medically discharged as well and we are waiting on all of that paperwork and crap to go thru. Grrr. lol. I really wanted to be home when I had this baby. I wanted a REAL baby shower w/ my Mommy What did you do in the Army? Do you miss being in? I had always thought about going in as an officer but basically everyone wants to do that and my degree is useless to the AF lol.

I have a few friends here, but none that I am too close too. Just a few ladies that I playdate w/ on Thursdays I had a really close friend but her hubby just seperated and she moved back to Texas so I am missing her like crazy. DakotasMom is one of my good friends here I feel you about your friends being on the computer. I think that I spend 1/2 my day online!

Ooh sorry to hear about your hubby! It does suck being medically discharged, but I know your probably having mixed feelings about him leaving.
I was a 92Y Unit supply specialist. I worked in an office and ordered supplies for my unit, anything that they needed. I loved it! Korea was truly amazing! My hubby and I are actually talking about being stationed in Korea, he has never been before.
I LOVE Jennifer! We are BFF in real life! Though we havent met, we are very very close!! We tell eachother everything and talk literally all day long! She is an awesome person!!
My One bestfriend I have here she is in the Army, we met when I was in Korea. We are very close and it was awesome she got stationed here! We are back together and our babies are actually 4 days apart! Its crazy!!
My husband is thinking of going warrant officer and being a pilot. More money..which is always good!
Yup Im like you, I am always online aswell..Its sad really..lol
So whats your plans for the weekend? Anything special? Nothing really here, just chilling. Still waiting on a date for my hubby's deployment..sucks waiting.

We didnt really do anything this weekend. Grocery shopping and had to go to Lowes for somethings for the house. We went scouting for things that we will probably buy to make the house look better when we are trying to sell.

Ugh I hate waiting and not knowing when something important like that is going to happen and then I hate even more when they give you a date and then change it a million times! Grr. lol that's one thing that I am def not going to miss about the military!

Any fun plans for the week? Are you guys going to do anything special before he leaves?

Nope, no plans really. We have been talking about doing some stuff. There is a really nice japanese restuarant he wants to go too, so we might go there. He LOVES japanese its his favorite food.
Yeah I agree about the dates thing..Its one thing I hate about being military is its so hard to make plans and keep them sometimes. I hate how life can get interrupted.
Cleaning cleaning and more cleaning..thats on my schedule for today! How have you been feeling? When do you find out the sex of the baby? any new names picked out?

Oo we do a lot of Japanese. The hubby loves sushi. That is probably the one place that we really wanted to be stationed.

Cleaning is what I have planned for today to. My son busted into my bedroom today and got into soo much stuff lol. I really have to get it cleaned up better so in case he gets in there it's not the end of the world. plus i have to clean up his room.. he has like 100 books and decided to pull them all off the shelf along w/ every toy he owns is on the floor too lol. too cute thou.

I have been feeling well. I don't really feel pregnant anymore lol. all of the early symptoms have gone away. Every once in a while I still have some heartburn and stuff but with my son i had heartburn sooo bad that I couldn't even sleep at night. We find out the sex on the 22nd!! I'm sooo stinkin excited. There are like 5 girls in my DDC that found out already and they are all having boys!! I can't believe how many girls arent' finding out thou. I could never I am too impatient! No new baby names we decided to hold off until we find out the sex and then think about it. I only ever had the one name (Sebastian) always decided on.

Where in Floridia are you originally from? What kind of stuff do you like to do in your spare time? (not that you probably get much of it these days )

Awww Sebastian is a cute name!! love it! I like Scarlett for a girl. You will have to let me know asap! Im very excited for you. I couldnt go and not know what the sex was either, I need to plan!! LOL. I have to do the nursery and pick colors.
Yeah my husband actually went to school in Japan and we have an option right now to go to Japan, they have a special forces unit over there. We are thinking about that. He is able to re enlist this month, so we are thinking, Florida, Japan or Colorado. I have heard such wonderful things about Ft. Carson! Im excited!!
I am from Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral area. Literally right next to Patrick Airforce Base.
In my spare time..wow. Your right I dont get that anymore! I like to obviously be on the computer! I like watching reality tv! Im a junkie for those! I love movies. When I get a chance to be alone, I love driving in my car with my bass turned up and blare my music with the window's down. It clears my head.
What about you?
Funny you said your hubby loves sushi, so does mine. obviously. LOL its his favorite food and I cant stand it! But I go for him..I get chicken and rice.
What are you doing for dinner tonight? Were having Burgers and fries. Nothing too exciting.
So what type of tv shows do you like?

The only place I have been in Flordia is Orlando, we went to Disney when I was pregnant with my son.

In my rare spare time I like to scrapbook, watch tv, play on the laptop, etc.

I can't stand sushi either!! lol I always get teryaki chicken or chicken cutlet when we go to our fave restaurant. mmm i could go for some now lol. Tonight I made Chicken stew with french bread and tossed salad. It was pretty good. We are trying this e-mealz.com thing. It's $15 for 3 months and they give you recipes and shopping lists, etc. I love it so far. We are on 2nd week and for the most part I really like everything.

I loveee so much tv lol. Its funny you ask I was just making my list of the up and coming shows so I'll know what is on when. My fave shows thou are Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. I love reality tv too!! I'm really excited for the new Survior and I have to catch up on Big Brother now. I watch a lot of TLC as well.

What do you watch? What kind of movies do you like? What kind of food do ya'll usually eat for dinner? Do you live on base or off?

Oooh boy we could be here all day if I put ALL my shows!! LOL.. Well lately I have been really liking "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and "Kourtney and Khloe take Miami" America's Got Talent, OOOH and of course MY FAVORITE show of all time is Army Wives! OMG..I havent missed an episode in 4 years since its been on.
I like the Amazing Race, thats my favorite reality show. Movies..I like action and romantic comedies. My favorite actor is Ryan Reynolds and my favorite actress is Zoe Saldana!! I LOVE her!! Who do you like?
We actually moved on post and I cant really stand it..We lost our BAH so it sucks!! But i really like our home. Its an upstairs and downstairs townhouse. A privacy fenced in backyard. How about you? do you live on or off post?
For dinner's we cook simple fast meals during the week..because we are just too tired to make an actual nice cooked meal.
I just bought a scrap book for Gabriel, I am not very crafty so I am hoping it will turn out good!..lol
so the biggest choice I am trying to make right now is for my hubby to be stationed in Florida or Fort Carson Colorado. I have heard some amazing things about ft carson. Lots of things to do and many places to go visit. so I am leaning towards there.. but its sooo hard!! LOL..

ah i've been watching Keeping up with the kardashians too. I think i missed the last episode but i get pulled in when they'll play a marathon or something lol. the hubby gets so mad, he hates reality tv. Umm my fave ppls probably have to be Reese Witherspoon and Brad Pitt.

We have lived off base for a year now. We bought a house. It's nice b/c we save so much money otherwise we would still be on base. Our house is super small thou, but it's just perfect for the 3 of us right now. I wouldn't be able to do it thou once the kids got bigger and we certainly wouldn't b able to fit 2 cribs in here lol.

Have you come any closer to coming to a decision on which base to choose? I would be going crazy if I got to choose too. It's a crazy hard decision.

What are ya'll up to this weekend? Did you get a date for the deployment yet?

Yes....Unfortunatly. He leaves next week... Im so upset! but I knew this was coming.. but it doesnt make it any easier on me! ya know.. He will be back in 5 months, so I know it could be a lot worse! But it still sucks! I will be heading home to florida on the 30th of this month.

And Yes we are going to Eglin Airforce Base. I am so much closer to home and friends there, I am happy we finally made that choice together and we can start planning! I am just patiently waiting for March to get here...so he can be home and we can start packing to move! I have to focus on that.

Nope no plans for the weekend, just trying to spend every minute with David, its his last weekend here! Gosh... thats so depressing!
How are you feeling? Tired or full of energy?!
Oh yeah, do you have any pets? I have 1 dog a little long haired chihuahua her name is Zena Rose! I LOVE her..my little spoiled girl!

Ugh that sucks so much I'm sorry girl. I can't even imagine!! It's exciting to be able to go home and spend time with family thou.

Ooo I've heard great things about Eglin!! I hope you like it there! Yea it's always a relief once you get a decision down

I have been soooo exhausted. I thought the 2nd trimester was supposed to give me super energy. lol. I seriously don't feel pregnant thou besides being so sleepy. But I could probably chock that up to chasing my 16 month old around and staying up wayy too late!

I do have one dog, Peanut, he's 2 1/2 minature pinscher mixed with something, we're not sure what. We got him for free from a vet here that our friend worked at and the ppl w/ the preggo mama couldn't keep all the pups.

I hope that you have a good weekend and get to spend a lot of time w/ the hubby!!! We did a lil bit of shopping, didn't really buy anything thou lol. And the hubby took me out to dinner yesterday. He's trying to be all nice b/c his new video game comes out on Wednesday and he took leave so he can spend 3 days straight playing it. lol. oh well if it makes him happy lol.

Do you have a lot of friends that still live around back home? Any plans of things you are going to do when you get there?

Yeah it could be because you are chasing around a 16 month old!~ He sounds just like my DH, what video game is it? I could totally see my hubby taking time off work to play a new video game that came out. My hubby is actually in school for video game design he is going for his masters degree.

We did spend a lot of time together this weekend, it was nice! Yes I have a lot of friends back in Florida, I went to highschool there, so ALL of my friends still live back there. I am planning on going to Orlando to Islands of Adventure they have Halloween Horror Nights during Oct, and I am going with a friend. They have rollercoasters and stuff! Im looking forward to that. I really wanted to go to the beach, but of course it will be Oct and I will be there for all the winter months! LOL.. so yeah, it does get cold there.

How many deployments have you been through? this is my 2nd one, and they never get any easier ya know? I am thinking of heading to florida on the 30th of this month, when we get paid so I have a whole pay check to get to florida.

What shopping did you do? Have you bought stuff for the baby yet? I LOVED baby shopping and I still do! OMG, I need to stay out of that department or Im asking for trouble, well my wallet is asking for trouble.. NO I will change that again, LOL my Husband's wallet is asking for trouble! But he honestly doesnt care.
Have you been to florida before? If so where have you been? Where have you been on vacation?

The game is the new Final Fantasy... not sure what # they are on now lol. He's playing in on the PC, but I guess it's coming on for PS3 as well. That's so exciting that your hubby can design video games. DH would love to be able to do some kind of work w/ them, but he isn't artistic at all. He's good w/ computers thou. Thats like his baby. He built it from scratch by himself.

My hubby actually never deployed. He joined, went to tech school for Air Traffic Controller and then after he was in that job for a few months he got medically disqualified. So then we had to wait around for almost a year for the stupid paperwork to go thru and then he went back to tech school for the job he is in now. He couldn't go on the first deployment b/c he was still doing his CDC's. then they change the rotation so he didn't end up having to go again. he was supposed to leave in April, but he had a choice to go or not b/c it was so close to his date of seperation he would have had to extend. So we got realllly lucky!

We went to the mall and walked around some. They were having a consignment sale in the one store that they have twice a year, but we walked in and walked out b/c the line seriously had like 30+ ppl in it!!! I haven't bought anything for the baby yet. I'm waiting to see if its a boy or a girl If it's a boy I really won't need very much except the newborn to 6 month stuff b/c I got rid of a lot of it. Luckily this baby is due in March and my DS was born in May so the clothes should fit the seasons mostly.

I've been to Flordia once. We went Christmas 2008 to Disney. It was funish lol. I was pregnant so I couldn't go on any of the good rides, plus there were soooo many ppl there. We didn't know that it was the busiest time of the year there lol.

We went on a few family vacations growing up but mostly close to home. We went to Southern PA, (to Gettysburg and hersey park), Vermont, Maine, and then the last family vaca we went on was to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. That was where i experienced my first Southern heat lol. This year the hubby, baby and I went to Arkansas for a few days to one of the state parks. It was a lot of fun.

how bout you? Does Gabriel sleep thru the nite yet at all? If not how long does he sleep for? I remember with Sebastian we were up all hours of the night at first!!! I couldn't put him down w/out him crying.
