i have a question for you mommies.. i am 14.2 wks and my face has become SUPER sensitive!! i am olive colored and tan REALLY easy in the summer.. i took baby sis n her friend to a waterpark today and my face was hurting bad after a short time in the sun (highly unusual!) and when i applied sunscreen-it burnt and made my face break out.. i have never had sensitive skin or been prone to sunburn either... is this due to pregnancy and is it normal or do you think its something else??

I'm sure it has something to do with pregnancy.

I suddenly became allergic to adhesives in bandaids at the begining of my pregnancy. It does weird things.

i would put money on the fact its the pregnancy. you should be super careful with sun screen because the up of estrogen will make you burn faster than norml.

ahh one joy of pregnancy they never told you about.

Oh! Definately wear sunscreen DAILY!

I never ever ever burn, but as soon as I got pregnant I started getting burnt from just walking from my house to the car!

A few weeks ago I went to the beach with DF and wore 25 spf. We were there less than an hour and I tanned like I've never tanned before!

I bought some face lotion with 15 spf, and made sure my foundation had spf in it too. It's really helped.

I didn't have trouble with burning, but pregnancy definately affects your skin. I had all kinds of other weird issues, like spots on my face that didn't tan.
