Does your dh unit/squadron/ect. hold a Christmas party? What about the working wives on this board.. does your job hold a Christmas party?

Joshua's squadron has one every year and it's usually really great. Everyone 'lets down there hair' and enjoys a night of drinking and joking.

My work is having one, but it's more of a Christmas lunch. We all bring food and hang out our kitchen for a few hours. It's a nice break from the work day.

Idk about DH's yet. I guess we'll see next year.

The job I had before I had Alex used to do a Christmas brunch.

DH's unit has one. Last year it was the whole battalion and it felt like herding around. Totally aweful. but a first sgt. came back and this years was nice and cozy with just the echo company. I don't know many wives so it usually is boring.

I wish I had a job. LOL.

dh's unit always has a Christmas dinner.with the exception of when they were in Iraq.

I didn't go last year but went this year and the first one....Didn't really have fun because they had it during their drill day and they had to go to briefings and stuff and there was nothing for the wives and children to do.

and we never have one where I work.

DH's unit had one a few weeks ago. It was okay....I think we'll skip it next year though.
