I would say I am anti-politics.. not that I don't pay attention. I think "politics" means who plays the game best. I am a historian. I have my BA in history and psychology so I spent a lot of time researching the past and people's reactions. Most people don't know that George Washington didn't want to be president but he did to make sure the government did not become overly powerful and rule the people. The constitution states which powers the federal government has and the rest should be up to the states and the people... I think there are waaaay too many politicians out there just trying to grab power. I know that may be more than what was asked.. but I don't think I could answer if I was political or not..
Short answer, yes I do pay attention to what politicians say.. but most of the time, I think they are all just playing a game to see who is better liked to see who gets the power next. I love my country.. but I think it has gone too far into politics.
Nope. I pay just enough attention for me to know which candidate I support above others.
I'm very much the same way. I hear a name. I look him up on the internet (supporters and non supporters) and make my decision usually from there. If it comes on the news I don't change it, but I don't seek it out.
