Any other moms run into issues with bringing home made baby food to daycare? Fort LEavenworth won't allow me to. I feel like they have no right to control what I feed my child. If anyone else is fighting this rule please let me know. Or if you got around it I'd like to know how!
I haven't heard about homemade food but I know some fighting with the daycare over cloth diapers in yuma. You would start fighting the system by educating them on how its important to you. I'm not active military so i'm not sure who the correct persons to talk to are. Or starting a petition and showing the daycare that your not the only person this rule effects.
Neither homemade baby food or cloth diapers are allowed at any of the CDC's on the five bases we've lived on. They likely will not change their minds, as they are licensed and have very strict rules. You do have the right to decide what your baby eats, but they have the right to follow the policies set in place. You could always choose to stay at home or hire a sitter if you don't agree with the rules.
