I'm finally settled in enough that I think I can manage to log on and post again regularly. I downloaded the forum runner app so it should be a lot easier than when I try to use the PC. Alex hates when I use the computer.
I guess a little update is in order. We are finally all settled in our apartment. We got our furniture and everything about a month ago and we're all unpacked. We all LOVE it here in WA. I actually enjoy the rain but the nonrainy days here are gorgeous. Our apartment has a view of Puget Sound and on clear days we can see Mt Rainer from the park down the street.
It's so nice being with DH again. It looks like he won't be deploying until sometime next year so he should be home with us every night until then. With the exception of a bit of field training.
Alex is doing well. Growing like a weed and into everything. She's crawling (and super fast lol). She's turning into such a daddy's girl. It's cute how excited she gets when he comes home.
We started sleep training about 2 weeks ago. None of us were sleeping well and we couldn't take it anymore. She's done really well so far. Most nights she's out in 5 minutes as opposed to the 30+ minutes of rocking and patting and soothing only to have her wake up again in 2 hours she was doing. And naps are amazing, no more fighting for 30 minUte naps, she goes down easy and usually for over an hour at a time. The last few nights have been rough but tooth #3 is about to appear any day now I think.
I'm glad to be able to come back finally.
Thanks to Bokkechick for my siggy.
