how did you come up with your child/rens name?

I've always loved the name Dakota, so when I started dating Josh, I told him that my sons name WILL be Dakota. He liked it and didn't have any other suggestions... so when I got pregnant, we already knew what our sons name would be

Dh came home with the name Ella Mae. Then I said Ellie Mae...I now know is the name of the character on Beverly Hill Billies.
Then my grandma called...gave a sob story how she didn't have any grandchildren or great grandchildren named after her.
So we caved and that's how she was named....

Dh always liked the name Alexandra. I picked the middle names. I really liked the name Logan for a girl and my sisters middle name is Marie. Dh has 2 middle names so we decided we should keep that going.

My oldest is named Destinee Marie. She's named after a cousin on my side who died when she was a baby and Marie is after my mother, ex-mother-in-law, and cousins. My youngest is named Alaina Rayne. Alaina was just because it sounds beautiful and the Rayne part is after my dad whose middle name is Wayne. Hubby and I are talking about baby names for the next one (since we're TTC) and if it's a boy, then it will be David Glenn (after his dad and grandpa) and if it's a girl, then it will be Sharon Denice (after his mom and grandma)
