I know I don't post much but I just wanted to share this.

DH is ARNG (not full time).Anyway,he was layed off before he was deployed in 2009 and then while he was gone the place filed bankruptcy and closed their doors. So when he came back he had no job to return to.He was able to collect a little unemployment but he looked and looked for a job and could not find a job until July of 2011.He came back in April of 2010.

He was not the only one who came back to no job. There were alot more...DH went all over looking, sending out resumes and I was trying to help him by trying to get in touch with the mayor and also with a state senator thinking that just MAYBE they could/would help him out with a job.......

So this weekend we got a flyer from Yellow Ribbon reintegration program~ Hero 2 Hired .Supposedly a website to help soldiers find a job.My thing is where were they back in 2010 when they came back home????

I am tempted to mail it back to wherever it came from and put a nice note with it.Not that that would do any good.....It is/was just so frustrating.DH's contract is up in May of 2013 and I will be so glad.I would not ever recommend the guard to anyone unless you can get a full time job with the guard.

vent over.

That sucks! There are alot of military programs that most military families didn't know about. I hear about different programs all the time. It sucks that most families dont know about them.
