Okay ladies! I need ideas!!! Josh will be deployed for Father Day so his first care package will be a Fathers Day one!

What type of things should I include?

This will be 'from' Dakota so I need cute, easy crafty type things. I won't to make a few things (with paint and such) to send. Plus, I will probably add a photo collage and/or a 'Worlds Greatest Father' shirt!

Idea from pinterest.....trace hands then get paper and make it the length of Dakota's arms like a hug. Hmmm....can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

Sidenote- Ellie and I will be visiting with my mom over fathers day without dh. And its our first fathers day. But we are going out tonight for the occasion.

If I think of something else I'll post.

He spends his time at the drag track or working on his cars and truck during the weekend He likes watched auctions shows, cars shows, and action movies. He is really into beer (I'm not saying that he is a drinker).. He likes trying different types and flavors.. umm.. thats about it.

You can get some cheap Matchbox cars and get like matching ones. Have your son (?) open his set and play with them and snap some pics. Send the pics and the matching cars to your husband. Send things he can use in his favorite color. Have your child form a heart with his handprints and put them on a shirt. Take a bunch of pictures of the kiddo and put them in a collage in the shape of a tie.

maybe you can find a special poem and do a hand print or footprint.

Walk A Little Slower
Walk a little slower, Daddy,
Said a little child so small.
I'm following in your footsteps
And I don't want to fall.

Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they are hard to see;
So, walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.

Someday when I'm all grown up,
You're what I want to be;
Then I will have a little child
Who'll want to follow me.

And I would want to lead just right,
And know that I was true;
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For I must follow you.

Daddy, "I Love You"
Daddy, I love you
For all that you do.

I'll kiss you and hug you
'Cause you love me, too.
You feed me and need me
To teach you to play.
So smile 'cause I love you
On this Father's Day.

Best Daddy Ever Jelly Beans! | The Dating Divas

Handprints pointed down with the saying Best Dad Hand Down 2012

Then I would take the time to decorate the box all father day like. Ties, tools and so on type stickers or drawn on the box.
I always decorate the boxes..lol
