Hey everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself and join the board. My name is Lauren, and my husband is a Marine. He is deployed right now so its just the kids and I. We are both pretty young, he is 23 and I am 19. Some background info is when I was younger I had a cyst, so doctors thought I wuld never be able to have kids. Well they had me on medicine that increased my ovulation and fertility to try and regulate me and 2 years ago we werent exactly carefull at one point so we ended up with triplets. They are G/G/B triplets, and they are my world! Its crazy being a "single mom" cause he isn't around with them, but its even crazier now because a week ago I took 3 hp tests and they all came out positive. I go to the doctors in 2 days, but im really scared. Im afraid that it might be multiples again due to the meds. Not to be TMI, but Edwin, my husband, was allowed to come home last month, and we were just so happy to see each other that protection was the last thing on our minds. Im just worrying cause I dont know if I will be able to handle all the kids on my own if it is multiples. I mean even if its just a singleton ill still have 3 toddlers, and then a newborn. Sorry for the long message just wanted to share lol. Ill make sure to let you guys know what happens after my doc appointment. Cant wait to get to meet all you guys and get to know all of you.
I'm Kim and DH is Army National Guard, and did 2 years in the Navy, and we have a 4 year old son.I also have a 23 year old daughter and 2 grandsons(2 and 2 weeks old) and DH has a son who is goingto be 21 next month.
Hi! I agree that military wives are capable of just about anything. I'm Jenna & I'm very thankful to have had dh (currently ANG) only gone for one deployment while I was preg with our first. His current job he has to travel a lot, but usually no more than a month at a time & mostly just a week every month. We have 3 boys (8, 3, & 6 months). Good luck with everything & keep us updated!
I must be tired. My kids are 8 yo, 5 yo, & 6 months! Lol
