DH 's ETS date is May 28th.He has been talking with an army recruiter and is trying to go reserves. There is sooooooooooo much red tape and paperwork...ugh
anyway.....the recruiter has been entering the info in the computer and can't do anything else until he has his discharge papers in hand. We're hoping that he gets them pretty quick.
How long does it usually take to get discharge papers?
DH and I have things going pretty calmly right now. He will have to go to a 3 week training course soon, but luckily it is not a far drive from here. After that things should remain calm until we figure out the next step as his ETS date gets closer. Not sure which route we are going to take yet!
We transfer next summer, so now it is looking at the billet list and getting everything planned. Going to clean the storage unit out next weekend, as it has three years worth of crap that we probably do not want or need.
DH ets's on May 28th from the guard.
We are STILL waiting on his NG 22.DH has been talking to an ARNG recruiter who is working on getting him back in but in another unit and then he will be able to change his mos.He talks like he can get this done pretty quick and we are both hoping that this is the case.So that's all I know right now.....Will keep you guys posted.
