What qualities/personality traits/skills do you feel military spouses should have in order to 'survive' the military life style?

being okay with impromptu plans is a plus too.
Having a plans B and C if plan A doesn't work out.

This is an awesome question....I struggle with a fb friend who hates the military. Told her DH that he can only have a 6 year contract and move on with life. They're only NG and every time he has Drill or AT she fights every step of the way. She actually has asked him to ask if he could get out of things b/c it doesn't work with her plans. She was extremely upset that he had drill on the weekend of his daughters birthday. oh vey...she gives me a headache!

Sounds like a headache. Being away from your spouse isn't aways a bad thing. It teaches wives to be alittle independent and shows just how strong (or weak) love really is. But that's just my opinion. Josh and I have been apart so much that my opinion is different from couples that don't spend months apart.
