dakota was perfectly fine all day no rash at all. my mom had to go out for about two hours and decided to take dakota with her. well she came back asleep so i let her finish her nap. when she woke up she was poopy so i changed her. she was completely red down there!! i cant tell if its a yeast in fection or a really bad rash but she normally only gets yeast infections but its NEVER been this bad and it happend so fast! since that diaper she has pooped about FIVE more times!! and every time its getting worse ive already put her medicine on it twice and it didnt help. she cant even sit down without crying im kind of mad at my mom because she obviously didnt change her! and this is really bad timeing because childrens aid has to come tomorrow to do a home visit because they havent seen her in a long time and their probably gonna say that ive neglected to change her or something

That stinks. I hope they understand. They have to know what a wonderful job you are doing raising those two kids.

I hope she starts feeling better soon, poor girl.

any chance you can let her run around with out a diaper like in the bathroom or somewhere else with hard floor that way it can air out and get a chance to dry up.

if it's really bad it's probably yeast. You can just get some monistat and put it on, or take her to the dr. Dry cornstarch also. I hope it goes away. Poor girl, it sounds painful

Let her sit in a lukewarm tub for as long as she wants then dry her bottom really well and put some cream and then baby powder on. That worked for Gem every time. Also, if you have cloth diapers, they breathe a little better. Or you could just put her in some pants that need to be thrown out anyway... Hope she feels better soon!

That'd be something for CAS to see.

Poor Dakota... I hope she feels better soon!

I hope it gets better before CAS goes there! Try Canestin (sp?) or anyother brand of yeast infection creme.

Maybe it was an allergic reaction to the cream?

Lexies had a bad rash like that before. Desitin cream works best for us. I just load it up at EVERY change, and change her at least once per hour. Its gone the next day

Poor baby, if she is common to getting yest infections they should understand. Let her air out for a bit...I know it will suck if she goes with no diaper, but at least she will have a bit of a free feeling for a while.
