Hmmm, I guess mine would have to be that anytime I was with my MIL at the mall or anywhere else all questions and comments were directed to my MIL and I would have to pop in and say "hello, she's mine." Or someone would say "awww, your little sister is so cute!"
A cashier told me that all teen babies are slow and that my daughter wasn't developing like a "normal" kid. That I lied about when she rolled over and so on. But oh well...I love my daughter and the new baby, everyone can say what they want...she isn't a disease because I'm young mom

Holy cow! That is like the rudest thing I could ever imagine! I'm sorry you had to hear that. Your daughter is very adorable!! And I'm sure you're an amazing mother to her as well.
Honestly, I don't get rude comments about it very much.. It's really quite common here and people say I look more like 20 or 21 than 17 (although you wouldn't know it by my display picture! lol).. the worst things I've had happen are when people ask my mom the questions or call Alyssa my sister.. Can't wait until I get the baby bump again and people start to notice *rolls eyes*
I have only had one person say anything to me and it was while i was pregnant and working the woman said gosh you are young i looked at her and said well gosh you look old!! did you find everything alright

Haha! Your reply to that lady made me giggle.
As long as I was with my husband I never had anybody say anything to me. He looks almost 30. I dont get any comments anymore. I did when I was pregnant and then right after I had her. I definitely matured more in my wardrobe department and then the comments stopped.
Someone asked me how old Jack is (people ask that all the time so I don't care) but then they said "and how old are you?" That is when I got pis.sed off. Other than that I haven't had any rude comments really.
I don't know if it was said because I was young or not but I had another mom tell me that "All moms who give their kids a pacifier should be shot". I don't think she would have had the ballz to say that to a 30-something mom.
I also get asked where her father is alot. For people I don't know personally I just tell them she's adopted and that shuts them up. It's not a lie because I did go through adoption to have his rights signed over to me!

My grandpa told me that I would be selling my body and drugs on the street to support my kid when I was pregnant. Another time this lady asked if I was still with the dad (like it was any of her business). Other than that, I don't think so. Maybe a couple stares because I have always looked younger than what I am. Teen pregnancy is EXTREMELY common here. In 2002, Mississippi had the highest teen pregnancy rate.
I've gotten a few. The one that I hate the most is when I'm out with my mom and everybody tells her how cute her son is. Uh, he's mine thankyouverymuch.
A few weeks ago I had a lady who for some reason assumed that because Jimmy and I aren't married (which she deduced because I have no wedding ring) it must mean we're not together and Lennon's dad skipped out on us like every other 'irresponsible teenage father.' I don't even know how that made sense, like us being together but not married had never entered her head AT ALL. I was just like "Well actually we don't feel ready to be married, but we live together. Oh and he's 25, also."

i look like i am 12 since i am so dang short so people always assume she is my sister or i am baby sitting LOL
it gets old but ive heard how cute my sister is so many times so i just ignore it now.
i also hate now that me and her dad are not together that i dont wear a ring and they stare at my finger like they just shat themselves. its not a crime to have a baby and not be with the father. i would rather not be in a relationship where im always being put down in front of my child! i get the look mostly from older ladys that think you need to be married to have kids

People have told me that my brother was really adorable, and how nice it is for me to watch him, and people have called me irrisponsible and other stuff like that, but it's nothing that really bothers me. The microwave lady on here annoyed me, and I kind of went off on her.
Come to think about it, my grandpa still says crap about me. I heard it when I was there in October. He says nothing bad about my sister having a child at 16 (I was 19), I guess it's because she's still with the dad. I don't know. It's rude as heck. As far as I know, he doesn't know about this pregnancy.
