Your friends that are your same age and people you knew/know in high school?

Not really, no ... I talk to less than a handful because they're into partying and clubbing and shlubbing and I'm into family and being a mom.

I still talk to, and go out with my best friend from high school. She is a lot more mature than most of the other people our age though. She is practically married, (they might as well be), and she isn't in to partying and all that other stuff. She is very excited about my baby coming. I think she is almost as excited as I am. She has bought things for the baby and everything. She's about the only one I talk to on a consistant basis. Everyone else is, like you said, more concerned with partying and such than family at this point.

I talk to one...my best friend from school. And I only just recently started talking to her more, since she got married & had a baby. Before that, we just really didn't have anything in common anymore.

sometimes...but my single kidless friends just dont understand why you have to get off the phone "oh he will be ok the bleeding will stop soon" I really dont want to hear it. I really dont care who you slept with last night and all the crap you bought at the mall. I dont know maybe I am just jealous of their single life.

I still talk to one of my friends from high school. She is the only one who doesn't act all weird on me anymore. One of my old friends decided to "dump" me as a friend and stopped talking to me and would never return phone calls. In general, my old friends just don't have anything in common with me.

Not really. They are all either all off to college or they have families of their own! I would be nice to talk to a few of the old pals though!

Yep we talk all the time! DH also talks to all his buddys in NJ. They come into town about every three months also. Once per month I have a girls night out! Soooo much fun! However since the new baby I havent had a real one yet....
