What does your mucous plug look like?

After I pee'd yesterday, I looked in the toilet like I always do for abnormalities and I had seen something that resembled a thin layer of skin (I think) and it was brown and there was a little bit of blood in my underwear.

Anyone?

It looks like snot pretty much & can have blood in it.

But as far as U r in ur pregnancy its normal for U to have extra CM which can look like ur plug.

well i thought i lost mine once-lol. I even talked with my dr about it and described a pasty pink think clump of gunk-lol he said that sounds like it. then a couple weeks later this blob of snoty booger thing came out- and i went into labor that night- so i guess i didnt. lol

Just a blob of clear (sorta bloody) mucus. It's quite gross! I would call and ask the doc. When I started spotting like that (40 weeks and change) I was only a day or two out from Logan's arrival.

Is there a way for them to check?

Im not sure- I told my dr that way he would check, because I figured they could, but he didnt tell me either way- so who knows.

Well I'm about to leave vor my appointment so I guess we'll just wait and see.

At one point, maybe three days before I saw that, I thought my water broke when I was sitting on the couch. I played the wait and see game because it was cold and not warm like it was when they broke it with Nik.

This pregnancy is just odd.
