Morgan has croup. My cousin came to her birthday party, sick, and I didnt know it, and now morgan caught croup. She started the barking cough two nights ago, and I knew it was coming, she slept for 13 hours, then just didnt feel well, wouldnt eat ANYTHING. So we offered to take her out to eat to see if she would eat, she wanted a taco, so we go to taco bell and she wont eat it, just wants cold juice, so we went to get her free birthday ice cream and she was holding her throat saying it felt good she got hungry late so we ordered calzones and she ate the breading off it but that was it, and today she only wants cold stuff again. My dad is a respiratory therapist so he listened to her and stuff, and told me all the stuff to do but its still stressful! She has a barky cough, and raspy voice. Im making sure she isnt getting a fever because my cousins got up to 102.3! I hope nobody else from the party gets sick. it made me so mad though, the poor kid didnt have any fun at the party cuz he was sick, he should have just stayed home and gotten better!
Is he the one who was sitting by the door wiht the thermometer and the box of kleenix?
I hope she feels better. Caiden had croup when he was about 15 months old, and had to go on steroids for it to keep his airways clear and use a nebulizer because of his asthma.
Is it possible she has Strep? It would explain her raspy voice, and her sore throat.

yea, that was him. He had been having asthma attacks, and had been doing breathing treatments and stuff so I figured that was why he looked so bad. I had no idea he had croup! I would have offered him to go lay down, he looked miserable, but when he has asthma attacks he gets like that.
Morgan had it like a year ago, and it lasted for a while. Right now it just seems like croup, but Im going to call her dr on monday and see what he says, the only thing that sucks is if kids have strep or any signs of RSV or anything like that they admit them right to the hospital So I hate taking her in
RSV is scary though, so I think it makes sense they do that. Caiden had it when he was 3 months old, that was also how old he was when we noticed he has asthma after that.
i hope she feels better though! They have pedilyte icy pops she might like.

my dad listened to her breathing and coughing and stuff, he said to take her to the dr on monday, so thats what im going to do. i called the on call dr and they said to take her to childrens hospital er, but they tell you that EVERYTIME you call
Aw, I hope she feels better soon! Joshua's sick too; I'm pretty sure he picked it up at daycare but he's got a cough and a sore throat, and he had a fever yesterday and the day before. It sucks. Croup sucks for both baby and mommy, so I really hope Morgan feels better soon and it doesn't get really serious!
