Back from Vegas!! Lots of pics

Hi ladies! We got back about an hour and a half ago, after flying out of Vegas at 7:30 this morning (ugh, we were at the airport by 5:30... it sucked!). I am sooo glad to be home, but it was an awesome trip! It was my very first time gambling so it was great, though I didn't win any money (darn). Jason won 100 bucks off the craps table, but that was about it for us! All of the luck seemed to be with FIL, he won a lot of money so that was really cool. We got into Vegas Sunday morning, and it was already 80 degrees at 8 in the morning! We milled around and gambled for a bit before we could check in, and then stopped by the convention center where FIL had his bowling tournament. By the time we finally got back to the hotel at 1:30 or so it was already 104 degrees (UGH, the Strip felt like a freaking furnace!). The entire time we were there it was really hot. Oh yeah, we stayed at the Riviera, one of the last "old" casino/hotels left on the Strip. I loved it, it was awesome. So basically during the time we were there, we gambled a bunch, ate dinner one night at the Excalibur (and went to the Tournament of Kings jousting thingy), went up and down the Strip (we learned after the first night to take the bus, and not walk - OW my feet still hurt!), went to the Stratosphere and went all the way up the tower, rode the New York New York roller coaster (AWESOME) and gambled at most of the casinos lol, and also went to the Hoover Dam too. I wish I could have gotten pictures of me gambling, but you can't take pics inside the casino. Sigh, oh well! And yup, that was our trip mainly. It was really fun, I was so happy to finally have a nice vacation. Of course now I'm just happy to be home lol!

That looks like so much fun!!! I haven't been to Vegas since May 08 (we used to go twice a year) but we're going in november just me and Eric and no kids! (andboth able to drink/gamble) and it looks like fun! I'm even more excited now after seeing your pics!

Stevens Mom & Stepdad go on a vacation every year for a bowling tournment he competes in! This year they were in Vegas too but it was at the end of March!

Awesome pictures!! Vegas looks like such an unreal city... I feel like I would be overwhelmed if I ever went there.

Awwww, thanks ladies!!!

We had an awesome time, I can't wait to go again next year. LOL we're already making plans!

Vegas is definitely a culture shock for sure! There's smoking in the casino (which was weird, Colorado has been smoke-free for awhile), free drinks for as long as you want as long as you're gambling (I loved my Amaretto Sours while playing the slots game Cops and Donuts LOL) and when they say Sin City, they mean it! We saw half-naked women everywhere, and they have nude magazine displays all over the Strip. It was sooooo weird lol, I was way overwhelmed the entire trip! Brie, the Stratosphere was CRAZY. Seriously, I had vertigo when we were inside the tower looking down, you seriously felt like you were going to fall! And they had this crazy ride where it actually is like a teeter totter and takes you way out over the edge of the tower. I wanted to ride it when I was down on the ground, once we got up there though and I actually saw how far up we were, I was like "aw helllllll noooo!!"
