I heard my baby's HeartBeat TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY  
It didnt take my doctor long at all i heard my heartbeat lol, and then bam there it was!

Wow, congrats. I didn't hear my baby's heartbeat for the first time until 34-36 weeks along. My doctor was a butthead and wouldn't do it. He didn't think it was necessary!!  It's very exciting to hear it though!

very exciting! i also never heard my kids' til I was further along (19 and 22 weeks).

OMG 34-36 weeks how did the doctor know your baby was ok?
Isnt it lovely hearing the heartbeat.

That is crazy! Bad doctor! I went in for a cold the other day and the first thing they did was bust out the doppler. Wow I cant believe he didnt try to find it earlier to check for irregularitys and so forth.

I first heard the beartbeat around 14 weeks both times, and I cried both times too. I hate to admit it, but with Reesi I'd been sort of hoping maybe I'd lose her at first. But then the first time I heard her heartbeat it came as a huge surprise and that all changed in a flash. It's like that made it totally real that I had a little person living and growing in me, and right then and there I fell totally in love with her (I didn't know it was a "her" yet, but I had a gut feeling) and from that moment on I felt like I'd die if anything happened to her.
This time with Alexis I was like "I can't wait I can''t wait". So when I heard her heartbeat it was a huge relief and still as awesome as the first time with Reesi. And i fell in love all over again, too.
