Hope you start feeling better Brie.

I have the doctors in two hours, Abbey has an appointment straight after me. I'm hoping Scott's back so he can drive us as I really don't want to go on the bus lol.

Hey ladies. I haven't been here in a while. I am going to post two threads, a DLS one and then one about my surgery. I am so tired though so please excuse the typos lol

Going to check out the threads, Cheala!

Troy took Alyssa to dance class this morning, so I'm hanging out with Rylan and Sophia until it's time for me to get ready for work in a bit..

Chantelle- its my favorite when the dads bring the little girls to dance! Its SO cute lol. It makes me giggle when they try to figure out how to get the dance shoes and tutus on their little girls haha. This dad today brought his little girl to dance and his 5 year old son and their new baby while the mom stayed home with their 2 year old haha. I helped him out by getting his son to color with Gauge because the baby was fussy.

I posted in here yesterday but I guess it didn't show up :s oh well. I just finally opened the kids number balloons I ordered for their bday and they are HUGE lmao..oops. That might cost more to fill than it did to order them.

Where do you fill them? I want to maybe ask the dollar store if they will if I pay for their the price of their larger size mylar balloons and then just fill my own instead of theirs. But still..my balloons are WAY bigger than any that they have. The Thomas one is HUGE.

Is it like a helium balloon? I don't know about there, but here you can buy a small helium tank at walmart for like $15..

Troy can manage the dance shoes, it's the costumes he has trouble with And the hair.. He had to take her to her dress rehearsal last year and the Moms tell me it was quite hilarious

Did the kids valentines with them this morning for preschool, we're going to make heart crayons later to take too

We have a party store here, and they charge $.20 per balloon, and $.35 for the big ones. I would call around and see if any party rental companies or party supply stores can help you out, it would probably be alot cheaper!

I wanted to do some fun valentines, but since I have been recoverying slowly I just bought a box of valentines to send, then I am giving Morgan a HUGE stuffed caterpiller and a box of owl cookies on valentines day, and I am sending her a singing valentine who is taking her flowers and balloons to class.

So Abbey's still on holiday from school, goes back on Wednesday. So I'm trying to find fun things to do until then, so far we've made cookies, cupcakes and chocolate cake lol. We were supposed to be going to my aunties tomorrow but that will all depend if my cousin gets out of hospital today if not then I guess we'll have to find something else to do as I don't want to take the girls up to the hospital with me.

For some reason I didn't realize that Abbey was 6 lol! I assumed she was between 2 and 4..not sure why.

I had an amazing day at work! I hope this keeps happening lol.

Disappeared there for a bit, had a crazy weekend. DH and I went to a Colorado Avalanche game on Friday - it was AMAZING. Not only did the Avs win, it was the very first military appreciation night the Avs have done. I think I bawled about 8 or 10 times. And yes I have pictures, and yes I want to share. LONG POST ALERT!

At my parents' house. DH tries to take a pic of me and Joshua and this is what I get. LOL

This one is a bit better haha

At the Pepsi Center - An Army Blackhawk Helicopter literally had landed in the parking lot and was moved to right outside the arena.

Club seats! AWESOME

DH and I. Love going to hockey games with him.

There's a joke and TWSS here.

Downtown Denver (I was freezing in just my Avs jersey)

Camo Avs warmup jerseys. The jerseys are being sold for charity - a few are over a grand already (auction doesn't end till the 24th), which is so awesome.

Starting the ceremony

Pepsi Center going nuts!

Joe Sakic and Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta, Medal of Honor recipient. Super Joe gave him an Camo Avs jersey with his name on it.

Staff Sgt. Giunta doing the ceremonial puck drop with Hurricanes captain Staal, and Avs captain Hejduk; with Sakic in the background

During the second intermission, the Avs had about twenty or so new recruits take the Oath. I was able to get it all on video. I'm not usually one for this type of thing, but considering the whole night, and how important the military is to my state, it was really incredible to see this in person - Avs Military Appreciation Night New Recruits 2012 - YouTube

Ryan O'Reilly, who's just 21 (I feel old), wins the game in overtime with 01.2 seconds left. I was about dying at this point.

And the best picture from last weekend:
Joshua about to go sledding.

Looks like y'all had a lot of fun Andrika! I am so exhausted, the boys have tried to get into everything today and Addi has been a total terror. I bought her a box of chocolates for Valentines Day and told her she could have them after lunch. When I was changing diapers she grabbed them and snuck them into her room (didn't get a chance to eat any) and then after timeout she tried to grab a chair and sneak back into the kitchen again. Right after getting out of timeout number 2 she goes back for the chair, I ask her what she is doing and she say "I want my chocolates." well guess what kiddo-you just earned timeout #3 and you are not getting any chocolates at all now.

Where is everyone?! Come back to me! I will be away on the weekend like 5 hours away from here. Crazy!

I have been so busy with placement its starting to get overwhelming. I think I might exhausted. I got 9 hours of sleep last night and woke up and could barely get out of bed this morning. I almost fell asleep at work. Like that is just insane..I am going to bed again early tonight but I am worried it will be the same..

I am here... I moved today, got ahead in schol work and got a 25 minute nap. I feel so tired too so I am going to just try and pass out. I went shopping for new clothes yesterday though and bought a pair of jeans. I got the size I normally buy, tried them on and they were too big, so I went and grabbed a size down. Today I put them on and they are two big, I am down two sizes, I am so excited. So I just celebrated with eating a cookie haha.

Thanks ladies!!

I'm here, just busy. Joshua had his exhibition night tonight where he showed us all of his work up to date. He and a couple of the kids read to us books they wrote. It was so sweet. Also saw some of his artwork and he yapped our ears off about birds and blue jays lol.
