Ours was for President's Day.
So Ro's mom texted me yesterday and said he had a fever. I texted her just a bit ago and he still has one today so I won't have him tomorrow either. He can't come back until he is 24 hours fever free. So I am getting a lighter week than I thought I would.

We still don't have family day in NB
Glad you're getting an easy week, but I hope he feels better soon!
Saw the doctor this morning, and because of my heart condition and passing out, I've been put on moderate bed rest and can't work for 2 weeks. *sigh*

Well I don't have the kids again today. Ro's mom called me at 4:00 yesterday afternoon asking me if I could drive her to Ro's doctor (her bf was stuck in traffic an hour away) because his temp had spiked at 103 Turns out he has a double ear infection.
I texted Bryan's mom last night asking how he was feeling. This is how our conversation went:
Me: How is Bryan feeling?
DCM: Hey, his Dad took him to the doctor. He has an ear infection but is feeling much better now with the medication.
Me: Ro has an ear infection too. Does Bryan have a fever? (now I want to add that I asked this because I knew she wouldn't tell me if I didn't ask, and by the comment above I could tell she was planning on bringing him to my house tomorrow)
DCM: Not anymore. Yay!
Me: That's good! How high did it end up getting?
DCM: His Dad said 103.
Me: Oh wow, poor little guy. I'm glad he's feeling better though. Ask when his temp went down. The rules say he can't come back until he is 24 hours fever free without the aid of medication (like tylenol or motrin, not antibiotics).
DCM: Oh. Ok. I'll ask
Me: Ok, just let me know.
DCM: He said around five.
Me: Ok, so if he stays fever free without any medication other than the antibiotics he can come back Friday morning.
Then about two hours later she finally texted "ok". There are a couple things that bother me about this conversation. One, since I know her and the way she talks and texts I can tell she was planning on bringing him tomorrow even though he had a fever yesterday afternoon. Two, when she said "Oh. Ok. I'll ask.", she was acting like she had no clue that was a rule. I have gone over this specific rule with her more than once (same with the rule about no vomiting for 24 hours and no diarrhea for 24 hours) plus she has a copy of the contract at her house! Three, why did she just now think to ask his Dad these questions when I told her too? If Dh had Addi when she was a baby (and we weren't together) and he told me she had a fever, threw up, etc. I asked for all the details. It annoys me that she didn't care enough to ask.
On top of all that I found out from her coworkers that she hasn't been coming into work most days. But she is still bringing B to me every.single.day. Seriously? I know you pay me to do it, but if you want to prove to the court that you care about your son how about you take care of him if you don't go to work instead of sitting at home drinking wine and watching Oprah all day while I have him?!?! Ugh, I am glad I only have until next Wednesday to deal with her.

Chantelle, I hope you're feeling a little better today. Rest up!
Brie, I am glad you were able to catch up on a few things. I hate starting a workout but always LOVE the feeling when I am done. It's the only motivation I have for doing it.
Meagan, I will never understand parents that do that sort of thing. I can understand every once in a while- if you have a doc appointment, or have lots of errands that need to be done and it is quicker without a baby in tow...but all the time? =( Poor kiddo. At least he has you and the routine at your house.
Not a whole lot going on here..same ole stuff. =) Today is pretty chill since the house is cleaned already, finishing up some laundry and trying to avoid shopping. lol

Meagan- How freaking frustrating! I thought all of the same things when I was reading through it that you though. If the kids were sick at Sean's he would text me immediately and I would be asking for all of the details and texting constantly for updates. Thank god you don't have to deal with her for much longer!
Meagan- I ended up working out! Thank god. I decided to start the second level of the 6 pack in 6 weeks..it has two levels.
Well in the middle of the night, I woke up and my knee was in the worst pain I have ever felt. I injured my knee in grade 5 jumping off the last step of a bus, my knee locked up for days. Well it has been sore off and on ever since. I could not find a comfortable place to lay to make it feel better I couldn't move it it just made it hurt more, it was awful, finally I fell back to sleep. I woke up and it is sore but nothing like last night. I hope that never happens again, so now I am nervous to work out ughh. This sucks. I will just have to take it easy on that leg.

Brie ~ Hope your knee's better soon.
Meagan ~ How annoying for you.
Well we've been a bit stressed out, firstly we found a house we absolutley loved it, we could afford it and it was big enough for when the twins come along, so we contacted the owner etc. and spoke about renting it and they were all for it and then yesterday phoned to say they'd changed their mind. I was so looking forward to moving out of this house. On the other hand I've definitely been feeling the twins move much more now although Abbey has decided they're called nemo and pippen after her two favourite programmes/film so yes we have baby nemo and baby pippen lol.

Ha, cute! That sucks that you didn't get the house hopefully you can find a better one.
I finally took the Christmas stuff and stored it in the basement LOL and brought the kids dora table up to put their craft stuff on till I buy a shelf for it. I saw a cute way of organizing it all on Pinterest and I am on a mission to do it.

Yay for pinterest Brie! Lol.
So I am on a mission too, but it is to sell as much stuff out of my house as possible. We put in our 30 day notice for our house this week and because our BAH is taken out a month behind (when they take it out March 1st it pays for our February rent) I need to pay for March's rent before March first in order for them not to take it out April 1st. So I am trying to come up with an extra 1253.50 (the prorated amount) by next Wednesday. It won't be devastating or anything if we can't get it done, but I would still like to, you know?

Are you moving off post or PCSing? I could never live on post again for that reason exactly. DH is an E6 and for them to take all of his BAH for some crummy post housing and have to pay utilities out of pocket is ridiculous to me.

We don't have to pay utilities, at least. What we are doing is kind of weird. Dusty is TDY'ing to GoodFellow to finish his AIT (12 weeks), and we have decided to just put our things in personal storage while he is there and I am going to go spend that 12 weeks in Texas with my family. It will help us save a lot of money because we put all of our BAH into savings during that time.
It looks like we are going to Hawaii (Schofield) next so we will more than likely live on post. With housing prices in Hawaii it just isn't worth it to live off base.

Ugh worst mood today. I stayed home this morning because Gauge was puking a bunch. Now hes fine. Dakota is at school and there is a HUGE snow storm. Might be the worst one of the year and I regret sending her in it. Now I have to figure out how I am getting her home. There is no way they will send buses in this.
I also tried to make her invitations but I dont have MS word so the sizing and everything kept printing off weird from me using paint so I wasted a ton of paper and ink. Now I have a headache. I cant nap because I am nervous about dK. Just one thing after the other day I am ready to shoot myself in the face.

Hope things get better for you Brie & hope dakota got home safely.
We went for dinner with my gran tonight, it was quite good. We only got back a little while ago but the girls fell asleep in the car so they're sound asleep the now. We're planning on going shopping for the babies tomorrow, think its about time we got started on buying more than clothes lol.

We got a little over 10 cms of snow then it finally stopped, rained a bit too so now its a slushy mess outside. Today was more bad than good but we ended up going shopping, just me and DK. Got her some new clothes and we went out for dinner.

It's snowing here now, we're supposed to get about 25-30cm all together, and blizzard conditions.
Trying to rest, but I've had doctor's appointments every day since they put me off work (until today). I'm going to try and use the next couple of weeks to get things ready to open up my etsy store, since I'm not allowed to do much else.

Have fun Brie! We have to go back to San Jose today to get my ring fixed. I am about to get Addi ready for gymnastics and we are going after that.

Her hair looks cuuute, you can kind of see it in the pic I just put up, she got bangs again. We skipped on getting birthday stuff because dk has been sassy the last two days and I want to do the shopping myself.
