Ugh today. I had such a good day at work and was in such a good mood and then Teresa picked me up. We finally had our big explosion of a fight thats been building up for 5 years. i will DLS it later when I'm more in the mood to thing about it.
This is brie..didnt realize my sister had signed in.
I am exhausted, my sister and I had a little bet type thing going to motivate us to lose weight. Well I am down 8lbs since we started and her 5lbs. If it stays this way Junior said if I can beat her by 3lbs that he will take me to go buy more clothes. I started out a size 18 but I am now a size 13. Still not what I want but I was size 11 after Sam, so I am getting there. I have lost 29lbs, have 7lbs to go until I hit 175, my first major goal and also my midway mark. But considering I started out at 211 that is AMAZING.
Meagan, that has to be tough. I have had to try and explain things to Sam and she understands most of it, but she still has her moments of questions.
Chantelle, what are you making? Is it still the bags?

I make a lot of different stuff now- cloth wipes, doll diapers, wetbags, fleece soakers, tutus, those dance bags, bibs and burp cloths, pretty much what anyone needs
Thats neat, I wish I had a talent like that. I have tried making jewelry and loved it but it got to expensive, and then when Junior lost or broke my $50 tool set I gave up.
I may just start back up again though. I will just be sure that he doesn't use any of it. Which he will.

It's so expensive to have a hobby Kendra, I understand I got my machine for Christmas, and wanted to take lessons but we couldn't afford it, so I taught myself
My supervisor said on Monday she wants me to call around to local salons to try and find people willing to donate free up-dos for some low income students for their formal (prom) . So I posed a FB status. So far one friend said her shop will do two, another friend said her shop will do some! Not sure how many, and another friend privately messaged me and said her shop will do SEVEN . So happy. My 3 closest hair dresser friends haven't even messaged me back yet haha.
That's great, Brie! I am glad people are willing to help.
I wanted to have a lazy weekend but it didn't work out like that at all. Yesterday Addi and I went to do some shopping with my Aunt, then to my MIL's to swim some, then to my Aunt's to play with the slip-n-slide and have dinner. I am up now getting ready for church but I'm letting Addi sleep until the last minute, she was so worn out last night so she needs to sleep as much as she can.
There is a robin trying to had to get into DK's room every day. It will fly into her window sometimes 3 or 4 times a day!! IT scares me every time haha. Like what on earth?
It's another Monday. I am up getting ready to spend two days in a 4th grade math class, next week I get to spend two days in a sixth grade science class. I am trying to be excited but I really want to teach the younger grades. My degree though is all the way up to eighth so I have to have experience in all of them, darn it.
I am excited for this afternoon though! I get to meet with a personal trainer to do a physical assessment and work out a schedule to get with her once a week so hopefully I can finally lose this post Addi flab on my stomach, four years later lol.
I hope your time in the class goes well, and your assessment, Meagan!
We were all sick here most of last week and all weekend, but thankfully we all seem to be feeling okay now, except that Sophia still has a runny nose. We all had the colds and then we all got the flu, great fun
Today was my second last day of placement! Tomorrow I have appts. all day and then on Weds it is finally my last day! It is bittersweet though, I will miss my students .
Okay ladies I need your advice. Here is a copy/paste of the post I put it mommy weightloss and fitness:
I have been playing around with the idea of getting a personal trainer, I met with one today and for 12 sessions it will cost us 360.00. I know that is not a lot at all when it comes to personal trainers but part of me feels guilty for spending it because we are currently trying to get out of debt and I am a SAHM.
At the same time, I could also just choose to go to the boot camp class at the gym I go to, continue my running, and then maybe go to the ab class once a week as well.
Ugh, I just don't know. I already told the trainer Dh said it was okay, but now I am having second thoughts. What would you do?
I've never had a trainer (mostly because we live in the middle of nowhere), I just ran and went to the gym, but if you think a trainer would help you reach your goals, I say go for it! Although I can understand feeling guilty about it as a SAHM, I feel bad about things like that too, even though I know I shouldn't.
Do you think you should wait til after you have another baby? I know how bad you wanting another baby and if you spend that kind of money on a trainer and then decide you want a baby, you may possibly start back all over again and have to do it again. In the end it is your choice, but maybe that is something you have to consider as well is if it is worth it in the long run.
I am bored at work. I don't work Friday, taking a vacation day. Samy has her field day at school and I will be going to that. I'm excited, her first field day.

I am with Kendra on this one! If you want another baby I would wait until after that for the trainer .
I just got such good news. So I am back on assistance for the summer. But Because I am going back to school in September, I have a 4 month grace period where I am allowed to work however much I want, as many jobs as I want and they wont deduct it off my cheque!! So I could work all summer and save up money. I just have to pass this math test on Thursday so that I can apply for school..as soon as I have confirmation that I am going back to school I can start work .
I have been thinking the same thing Kendra, not only that but we are currently working our butts off (him making the money, me budgeting it lol) to get out of debt and I keep thinking of what that 360.00 could go towards.
Also when I did my physical assessment yesterday she kept saying how fit I am and that I have the right posture and technique in different moves. I think if I can get the motivation I can do it myself, I just have to be motivated.
