We went to the beach yesterday and had a blast! Thomas was soooo freaked out by the water at 1st but by the end of the day he didnt want to get out, i went deep enough to sit on my knees and have him stand on them and the waves kept pushing us it was awesome the way thomas would hit every wave, at one point a wave knocked me over and all you saw was a baby sticking out of the water because my only reaction was to keep his head out of the water, thomas thought it was hilarious! at the beach we went to they have this cool sprinkler play park and thomas was crawling around avoiding the sprays of water, at one point he stopped to look at a leaf on the ground and this flower thing randomly turned on, he got soooo scared of it totally freaked out! im a bad mommy i was laughing so hard, i know im mean! he was soo good he wouldnt eat the sand unlike his cousin who kept trying to get handfuls into his mouth, his mommy had to stay right by him, thomas would pick up a rock or shell, wipe all the sand off of it, then try to put it in his mouth, me and shayna (7 y/o) built a sand castle, i was COVERED in sand! nicholas, thomas's cousin, started getting cranky we thought we had to leave since the only way he will take a nap is if you put him in his crib and let him go to sleep on his own, but i rocked him to sleep, his mother was sooo shocked that i got him to sleep LOL! thomas was sooo happy the whole day! as soon as i started the car he fell asleep, usually when thomas falls asleep in the car he wakes up as soon as you open his door, not this time i carried him in he stayed asleep and even slept for 20 minutes in a chair, he was sooo tired, after i ate dinner, i woke him up and fed him dinner, then we took a nice cool shower together which he loved, he wanted to be right under the water, which made know sense to me because of the way he was at the sprinkler park, after that i saw how burnt i was, all i know is its a good thing i kept putting sunblock on thomas every half hour! he even got a little sunburn on his head and nose and left cheek. poor guy... i cant even move thats how bad my back is burnt... any way if you read all this you deserve to see our little slideshow, oh and the last picture is thomas with my brother, and two of his friends this morning, nick, the kid sitting in front of thomas, always takes thomas from me as soon as he walks in, i swear thomas would rather be with nick than anyone in the world.. nick always takes thomas upstairs for "guy" time, its soo cute, he lets him "play" video games with them and look at bmx magazines... agh let me stop rambling on!
