Is anyone else on the pill? Or any other form of BC?

I never thought I'd go on the pill, it honestly just creeps me out lol. But the beginning of May (2weeks after my period) I started bleeding, &it never stopped. So my DR put me on the pill to control it & 'regulate' my cycle. I still spot if I pnly take one pill a day..they had me on 3 a day for a week to stop the bleeding. Im so sick of it though, Ive been taking 2 a day to keep it at bay.

I feel like my woman parts are rebelling against me lol.

Ouch, sounds like a PITA (although... maybe not exactly there ) Hope they can figure out why you're bleeding so much.

I'm on the mirena, have been for like two years now and had a ton of issues in the beginning but seems a-okay now, still have periods and cramping and all that fun stuff but no preggers so atleast it works

I'm sorry you're having so much trouble

I was on the pill and it did terrible things to my hormones, and IUDs freak me out. So I guess it's NFP for us

I had really bad reactions to every hormonal bc I tried, every.single.one. So we rely on FAM now.

no need to be nervous Brie!.. i was really nervous too and i didn't feel a thing!.. you will bleed for a bit though.. they told me that they tell patients that they will hate it for the first 6 months, but after that you wont even notice it.. most girls stop getting a period all together after 6 months!.. you only spot randomly!

That sounds wrong to me, not having a period lol! Like it messes with your body or something. Makes me so nervous! But its the best option for me right now.

I also have the mirena and to be nice, I won't go in details about how it was getting lol Had to try twice since the first person I went to couldn't do it... second time went really easy with just some cramping.

I have had it for like 2 years? Now and I still have periods, every single month so you might still get it.

Me and hormonal BC do not get along, and never have, so I've been using FAM for about 4 or 5 years now. I've contemplated getting the copper IUD lately, but I haven't really decided. Knowing my luck it'll be a PITA just like every other BC I've ever used lol.
