Hey everybody, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Lauren, and I am 19 years old. I am a mother of multiples. I have 2 year old G/G/B triplets, due to fertility medicine im on from a previous cyst. My husband is in the Marines, so I am basically a "single mom" cuz hes never around. Well he was able to come home for a little while last month, and were werent carefull. Last week I took 3 hp tests and they all came out positive, I have a doctors app. in 2 days. Im really scared that it might be multiples again though... Ill deff let you guys know after I find out. Cant wait to meet you guys and get to know all of you.
Hi and welcome. I'm Meagan (23), wife to Dusty (23), and mama to Addisen who is 4. Wow, triplets at 17 must have been tough! I can't imagine.
Is your Dh still in training? I was just wondering why you weren't living together, my Dh is in the military as well and I have gotten to live with him at any point he wasn't in training or his training was a certain length of time.
Oh ok, we luckily haven't been through any deployments yet.
I dont mean this in a rude way at all but do you mind me askin what kind of fertility meds they had you on? I had horrible cysts as a teen but was put on bc to help with them. Most fertility meds that I know of can actually cause cysts instead of treat them. I also just can't comprehend any doctor giving a 17 year old fertility meds for any reason, it seems pretty risky.
yeah thats fine. I had been on Repronex. It hasnt been used as a treatment for the cyst I had. The cyst I had left my ovary unable to produce eggs, so they put me on Repronex to stimulate it so that I could produce the eggs and ovulate. guess I should of mentioned that, and that it wasnt for cyst treament. sorry

Hi, I'm Kasie. Mom to Dominic, who is 6. Nice to meet you.
Wow, fertility meds? That's crazy, especially since you are so young. Is your other ovary working okay? I just wonder because you can still get pregnant with only one ovary ovulating. I had to have my left one taken out a few years ago because of a tumor.
Oh okay. That still seems weird to me though since you were only 17 at the time and even if you were TTC you would still have ovulated from the other ovary the next month. So instead of ovulating every month you would have ovulated every other month. I guess I don't see why your doctor would have been so set on getting that ovary to produce eggs and ovulate, instead of seeing if it got better on it's own and if it didn't taking it out. That's the action taken by most people I know. But I assume your doctor had a reason for it....
