I just got done writing out a complete lesson plan (half of this weeks assignment) when Word freaked out and closed down. Even though I had saved it, it still deleted over half of my lesson plan Now I have to do it all over and my friends are on their way over to spend the afternoon with us. Just my luck.

I find it so weird that we have Thanksgiving on different dates, it's our Columbus Day weekend here so today is a holiday. Addi and I are going to go on a pumpkin patch field trip with our homeschool group. I am praying that Dusty get's back in time to go too, he has to go open the shop at work this morning and can't leave until his Sergeant get's there.

I love your hair Brie. I wish I was brave enough to dye mine. And I didn't even know you lived in Canada.
I honestly didn't even know today was a holiday because we still had school but all the banks were closed and my babysitter asked for the day off.

I find it so odd that Thanksgiving is a lot later in the states. Too close to Christmas if you ask me lol thats like way too many turkey dinners close together.

See, we do ham for Christmas and turkey for Thanksgiving lol. I like having it in November because I feel that it kicks off the holidays so to speak.

For us it kicks off fall/Halloween haha. I can see it starting the holidays though too. I start my Christmas shopping around now. I have gotten a few things so far.

I read a saying once that said something like this talking about Thanksgiving and black Friday: "Only in America can we give thanks for everything we have one day, and run over each other to get more stuff the next"

Lol that's true people go crazy on Black Friday over silly things like sheets

I was babysitting my younger siblings for my dad and my step mom today. I had to punish my 4 year old little sister and her response was " fine then I don't love you anymore"
