Hi all! I'm Danielle, I'm 7 months pregnant with my 1st. I'm only 19, expect to bf for as long as my LO wants. Any other young nursing mothers?

Welcome, My name is Emma. I'm an ex-teen Mum now but I was barely 16 with my first and breastfed her for 14 or so months. I've breastfed all my babes, almost 8 months and going strong now. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Hi and welcome! I'm also an ex-teen mom, I had my first daughter at 19 too. Unfortunately I was only able to nurse for 2 months or so because I got sick and the medication I was put on (long story, but remember you CAN request a bf friendly medication if you get sick). I plan to bf our next LO for as long as possible though.

I am so late on this, welcome please stick around and feel free to ask any questions you might have . I couldn't breast feed, but the main piece of advice I've seen over the past couple of years for breastfeeding is don't give up, it is very rewarding.

Definitely stick with breastfeeding, as it's so more nutritious and a better all-around experience for the mother/baby bond.
