Hey,
Just wanted to drop everyone a note and if you don't see me for a few days this is why.
I went down to my moms lastnight for dinner and I had been having these really bad stomach pains from my belly button up to my breastbone. Well they got a lot worse at dinner time, I was very nauseated. So, it got so bad I was in tears. My uncle told my mom to take me to the emergency room, so she did. We got there at like 6:45pm and by 7pm the doctor was in and made the nurses put me on an IV for fluids, then they took some bloodwork and a urine sample. None of that showed anything besides my white blood cell count was high. So, then they made me drink all this nasty crap, mind you that its NASTY and I was already nauseated. So I drank some of that and they took me to the catscan room and took a bunch of pictures with the catscan machine. My tests come back to show NOTHING! We do not know what is wrong with me. Today I'm not as nauseated but still queezy feeling. I am soooooo tired and weak feeling. They also gave me some stuff lastnight in my IV to help with the nausea then gave me some Demoral for the pain. My pain has gone down a lot, but now my belly just feels "weird". THIS IS TMI here-----> (I don't have diarhea but when I do go to the bathroom its all like pure water, nothing to it.
So, until I can figure out whats going on or start to feel better I will just pop on and off. Can't stand to be on here for too long, gotta lay down.

Oh Brandy.. I hope your okay I wish nothing but for you to feel better really soon.. it kinda reminds me of when I went to the hospital and they found out a few days later through ultrasound that I had gauld stones or however you spell it!

I had the exact same thing happen to me about a month ago. I couldn't walk or eat. My pain was in the same spot. All of my tests at the hospital came back normal which was really annoying. The Dr. figures the pain was caused by an ulser.
Have you been stressed at all?
I have been really stressed out the last couple of months. I can still feel it sometimes but mostly when I have upset about something. I hope you are feeling better soon!!

That sounds like food poisoning to me b/c thats exactly how i felt when i got it the two times...only difference i couldn't get out of my bed
Did they give you Barium? I had to drink that when I needed a CAT or MRI (I can't remember which) on my stomach in January. It tasted horrible! I threw it up.
If your WBC count was high, then maybe you have a bacterial infection that could be causing your diarrhea. Did they check your H-Pylori level?
My initial thought was that it was probably your apendix but then I realized where your pain was, so I am not so sure now. Anywho I hope you start to feel better!

They did a catscan of my belly,chest and everything in that area. and drew blood work to check my gallbladder enzymes.

I have no clue if they checked that, she took like 6 or 7 tubes of blood.
Today is Saturday, I am feeling MUCH better!!! Not a lot of energy but my belly is feeling fine as of right now.
